A container connector is a device that joins two 20 ft ISO containers to form a 40 ft unit. It is not built-in but can be stored at the container's base. Only two connectors are needed per container, classified as upper and lower. The benefits include no structural modifications, improved container utilization, minimized empty transport, and efficient handling of both loaded and empty containers up to 20,000 kg. These connectors also enable quick loading and unloading from both sides when the containers are connected.
